As of 24/03/2020 15:00.  It is still a mandatory requirement to have your gas appliances in rented accommodation safety checked every 12 months. This situation is currently being reviewed by Gas Safe and HSE. They are currently communicating with the cabinet to postpone gas safety checks for the upcoming weeks but as of yet this has not taken place. Please visit the link below for more information.

GAS SAFE UPDATES

As a company we have taken the following precautionary measures before we attend any job. If any of these measures are breached we will unfortunately be unable to attend. This is to protect ourselves, family and other customers. This is in correspondence to the government guidelines, please see below.

  1. Have you been abroad in the past 14 days?
  2. Is anyone in the household showing symptoms i.e. new cough, high temperature etc?
  3. Is anyone in the household self isolating?
  4. Are you happy for the works in question to take place?
  5. We will maintain a 2 meter distance from any person in the household and this will have to be obliged by everyone
  6. All surfaces where the works will take place need to be wiped down and cleaned (with anti-bacterial substances if possible) before engineer attendance

If you apply to any of the questions above we will unfortunately be unable to attend for 14 days. If there is an emergency please phone 01492 440088 and we will advise on other methods of making safe without us being in attendance, if this is not possible we will provide further advice.
